How can I make the generated code valid XHTML?

All generated HTML conforms to the HTML 4.01 Transitional standard. If you wish to make an encoded link valid XHTML, you can either:

Simple Encoding

<script type='text/javascript'>/*<![CDATA[*/
var v2="ZHUQNZFOEKFYDMWZI";
var v7=unescape("%3B%24%3C2+%1A%237%24%2665%21c45%24");
var v5=v2.length;var v1="";for(var v4=0;v4<v5;v4++)
{v1+=String.fromCharCode(
v2.charCodeAt(v4)^v7.charCodeAt(v4));}
document.write('<a href="javascript:void(0)" '+
'onclick="window.location=\'mail\u0074o\u003a'+v1+
'?subject=From%20your%20webpage.'+
'\'">'+'Encoder</a>');

// ]]>
</script><noscript><div><a
href='http://w2.syronex.com/jmr/safemailto/#noscript'>Encoder</a>
</div></noscript>

Encoding + Challenge

<script type='text/javascript'>/*<![CDATA[*/
function ask(){var win=window.open('example/txt.htm','askwin',',scrollbars=no,height=220,
width=200');if(!win.opener)win.opener=self}document.write(
'<a href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="ask()">Encoder + Challenge</a>');
// ]]>
</script><noscript><div><a
href='http://w2.syronex.com/jmr/safemailto/#noscript'>Encoder + Challenge</a>

</div></noscript>
